This is getting to be one of our favorite projects around Little House. We make these with grown ups, with babies, anyone can do this project! I got the idea from pinterest (of course) where I saw someone using masking tape to mask off a snowflake design. We do that one with the kids too… a snowflake, a heart, whatever. So when we do the monogram, you just tape the first letter of someone’s name, and press the tape down on the canvas well. Paint the whole canvas.. use brushes, foam, fingers, toes, whatever you like. it can be drawn out designs, or messy smears of color. everything looks good! we dry the canvas and peel off the tape to reveal your monogram.
