wheel thrown pottery

$40 – one hour for one
basic wheel throwing techniques to make a bowl, flowerpot, or cup. one hour class, plus your visit back to glaze, all materials and firings included. we teach ALL ages. so fun!

terrarium building

$40 – 1 hour
learn how terrariums come together and create a tiny growing world for you! class includes all materials to make a medium size custom terrarium with specialty items and plants. upgrades to larger sizes available.

specialty glaze techniques

$60 – 2 hours
learn specialty ceramics glaze techniques including: stamping, bubbling, sgraffito, and resist stenciling. This class cost includes instruction, tools, glaze and supplies to make three finished pieces, plus all firing costs.

jewelry basics

$35 – 2 hours
Students are guided through basic beading techniques: learn specialized tools, use of jewelry findings and hardware, multi-strand pieces and fancy shcmancy tricks. Course includes materials, tools and instruction through a necklace or bracelet and earrings.

yarn bowls

$25 – 2 hours
yarn bowls are both beautiful and functional. learn to make these lovely bowls for your home or for a gift. so fun and easy. we’ve done this class with ages 5 and up! Learn the basic technique, starting, and finishing, adding patterns, and building larger bowls. Class includes materials to make a 8in diameter bowl, and all instruction. (more materials are available for additional cost)

softie/ sewing basics

$45 – 3 hours
Students are guided through basic sewing techniques: Split and Whip stitch, Button attachment, applique, embellishments, and how to use a pattern. Course includes materials, tools and instruction through your own adorable softie!

block printing

$20 – 2 hours
make your own custom design and personal stamp. learn techniques for designing, carving, inking and printing on various materials. wonderful for greeting cards. We will have blank materials but feel free to bring fabric or paper you love and want to print on as well.

hand building with clay

$40 – 2 hours

learn the basics of hand-building techniques including coil, pinch, and slab. use of tools and understanding of basic ceramics. Includes materials: 1 pound of clay, and firings for bisque and glaze are included.
